About the Artist
I have loved fine art my entire life and have been drawing since I could hold a crayon. I began taking private art lessons as a young child and have taken every art class offered in the public school system. I studied fine art at Georgia State University with a concentration in drawing and painting. I began teaching private one-on-one art lessons in 2002. In the summer of 2005 I started teaching group art classes out of my home. When I am not drawing or teaching art, I am a stay at home mom raising two amazing daughters with special needs. I enjoy crafts, sculpture, jewelry design and architecture, but my passion is portrait art and murals. I work mostly with pencil, charcoal, pastels and acrylics, but I have experience in watercolor, oils, and clay. Art is my passion! I feel that through art one can truly appreciate the beauty of this earth.
